You know, I never really used to look forward to fall. My favorite seasons were always Spring and Summer and that’s it. My mom would always love fall and the shopping and was into raking leaves, the whole deal. Now, I’m all about fall suddenly. I think I no longer associate it with the end of summer and having to return to school and coldness. Sorry for rambling on, but this post is really an update on how my fall is going.
October has truly been a beautiful month weatherwise and the kids have gotten into the school vibe with no issues this year. I’m super blessed. My son, Seth started pre-K3 and absolutely loves his class and teacher.
I’ve been doing a little bit of fall shopping here and there but really not much as I purchased some nice pieces last fall that have carried over this season thankfully. I bought the boys some inexpensive but cute pieces from Old Navy online (great sale every October), TJ Maxx and our closes Polo Outlet has a wonderful kid’s section.
We didn’t do the pumpkin patch this year because my younger son has some serious allergies but we had fun holding a mini-Halloween party with family and doing some safe trick or treating at our local town center.
Like I mentioned earlier, this blog is really a catchup. Let me know how your fall is going. I’m always looking for fun fall activities. Skyline Drive in Shenandoah, VA is next on our list as the leaves finally started turning colors last week.
Until next time.
Stay safe and blessed.
